If customer violates TOS, should you give a refund?

Heres a question I am trying to figure out and I’m wondering what other hosts do:

If you have a customer that prepays for several months, for example, pays using quarterly billing or yearly billing, and you discover that they are somehow violating your terms of service, such as spamming, do you refund the remaining months or keep it?
