Is it a good idea?

Would it be a good idea to keep free and paid hosting accounts on the same server? Or should I break them off? Currently, I do not have many accounts, around 250-300. Most of them being free. Just recently I decided to switch to paid hosting. Though, I was wondering if and when I should purchase another server to seperate them. At the moment though, I do not have the money to afford another server.
