What’s the cheapest place to get it from?

I’m looking to make a website, and host it myself. The concept is that another doctor and I want to make some videos (3-4 per week) on fitness, training, health, nutrition, stretching ect. Along with that, I want to be able to incorporate a website that allows a forum type setting were people can discuss plateaus, and have member responses, as long as input from medical professionals. My question is this:
What do I need- Software wise, server hardware, ect…and what types of coding do I need to learn? Is there something you would suggest that I could read online, to kind of understand better what I’m getting into. I have alot of free time and learn fairly quickly, so I don’t think its over my head…I just wanted to know what it wold take to get started. Thanks again,
